The Krembil Brain Institute (KBI) Postdoctoral Fellowship Award is a one (1) year non-renewable $50,000 award to support the salary expenses of new or existing fellows who have completed a PhD or MD program and are actively engaged in postdoctoral research in any area of research within the Krembil Brain Institute.

The Krembil Post-Doctoral & Clinical Research Fellowship award is a one (1) year non-renewable $30,000 award to support the salary expenses of new or existing fellows who have completed a PhD or MD program and are actively engaged in research (i.e. > 50% time dedicated to research).

The Krembil Collaborative Seed Grant competition is intended to foster collaborations between clinical and basic research, and between the different institutes at the Krembil Research Institute (i.e., Krembil Brain Institute, Schroeder Arthritis Institute, Donald K. Johnson Eye Institute). The competition provides up to $75,000 over a maximum two (2) year period to support the preliminary or pilot phase of scientific projects, not to supplement funding already secured for the project.
